Battery Lane Site C Redevelopment Plan Earns "Superlative Design" Review by Bethesda Downtown Design Advisory Panel

The Bethesda Downtown Design Advisory Panel (“DAP”) reviewed the architecture, urban design, and landscape architecture for Site C. On June 27, 2022, DAP recommended the project design as a “Superlative Design” that is a top example of design within Montgomery County and that in a uniquely compelling way meets the Design Guidelines.

They committee recommended the project receive 20 Public Benefit Points for Exceptional Design.

The primary goal of the Design Advisory Panel is to provide advice and recommendations that will heighten design excellence and improve the quality of architecture, urban design and landscape architecture in Bethesda, guided by the Bethesda Downtown Sector Plan and the related Design Guidelines
